Here in Denmark, daylight hours are quite scarce. Maybe that’s part of the reason why we have such a long and proud history of designing and perfecting home lighting. Old Danish masters like Poul Henningsen, Le Klint, and Verner Panton all combined an unrelenting focus on the technical qualities of light and ambience with an acute grasp of the aesthetic qualities of light.
We stand on the shoulders of this tradition, but we are aiming to combine tradition with cutting edge technology. In collaboration with the award-winning designer Øivind Slaatto, we have designed and developed the Shade Pendant ØS1, a lamp, which provides limitless possibilities to adjust lighting to you own specific needs and mood.
